I couldn’t agree moredela.dzadey, we have had an outsource team in place for quite some time now. Many of the points you make are all sound reasons to consider the solution, but don’t forget as much as it is about someone / or their team integrating with your business, there needs to be similar consideration to integrating with the individuals, both professionally and culturally if the team is off shore.
Thanks conrad thats a good point. What do you do differently to make sure the offshore team feels like a part of your team?

dela.dzadey Im not going to be that brave to suggest we do things differently, but we do have regular structured meetings, we have an internal micro reward scheme where everyone onshore and off has an allowance to reward actions and behaviours in line with our values. We send team members over and have recently brought a team member to Australia too. Additionally we’ve had ice breaker quiz sessions which included geographical and cultural questions.

Thats great! Sounds like a lot of time an effort put into the relationship. Thats so important and often overlooked.
