🤓 Xplan Hint: H is for Help!

Did you know you can get instant help in Xplan? Just highlight any text on screen, hold down the 'H' key, and be taken straight to the relevant help menu in Iress Community!

Imagine you're navigating Xplan and come across a section you need more information on. Instead of breaking your workflow to manually search for answers, simply use your mouse to highlight the text on your current page. Then, hold down the 'H' key (for approximately 3 seconds) and you'll be seamlessly transported directly to the Iress Community search results page.

The best part? The highlighted text is automatically populated in the search bar, saving you time and ensuring accurate results. This means you’ll immediately have access to a wealth of relevant topics, discussions, and resources, all with a single click - talk about efficiency!

This wonderfully brilliant but simple idea came to life during a recent CodeIt session - an Iress initiative where our engineers are given the freedom to explore and prototype innovative solutions beyond their daily tasks.

You can read more about it here: Highlight text + hold the 'H' key for Help. Or, better yet, just give it a go right now!

I'm genuinely excited for you to try it and discover how much easier and faster it makes finding the information you need in the Iress Community.

If only holding down H summoned help in real life too…
    Can’t find your keys? H 😅

Until then, at least Xplan’s got it covered. Can't wait to hear what the community thinks!
