Secure messaging between Xplan users
I've been asked about activating a Xplan instant messaging between users feature on our site but I'm not aware of this feature and cannot locate anything on this in Community. Apparently, it was available a few years ago.
Does such a feature exist?

This is a great idea, but needs to be implemented in a ease of use manner, the easier to use, the more uptake you will have. The old messaging system looks very clunky. I think times have changed significantly since 2019, and this would be a really useful tool.

Hi Dianne, the official Xplan Chat Feature was disabled in 2019. This decision is based on usage stats of the Chat feature plus feedback received regarding its usefulness. No plans at this stage to reintroduce traditional chat messaging
There is the ability to send users a message via the notification bell - see the quick screen grab below.
If you think Iress should look at reintroducing a chat function we'd be happy to hear more from yourself and others on how you would use this.

Thank you for your prompt response Courtney.
To enhance the security of communications between our Paraplanners and advisers, we request consideration of an 'instant messaging' feature on Xplan. This feature would prioritise greater privacy protection and address increasing cybersecurity risks. It would become the primary communication method for our Paraplanning Team and ideally include the capability to download communication transcripts for our records

How does Iress capture your product feedback? And where does it go?
Iress revamped it's feedback process to enhance how customer feedback is captured, distributed, synthesised and tracked.
Check out this podcast where kerry.ong explained the feedback process in a little more detail
Your feedback certainly isn't going unnoticed, so keep it coming!
