Want to know exactly what your client has updated in their digital fact find? Now you can!
Fact find comparison report is now available to all users
Background
Client Portal allows users to provide their clients with a digital fact find to complete for new and existing clients. The data is updated immediately in Xplan and allows advisers to capture data more efficiently. However, even though all changes are logged in the audit trail, getting a clear picture of what is updated wasn't always easy.
What's new?
Upon completion of a fact find in Client Portal, a comparison report is generated and saved as a file note against the client. All data from the fact find is displayed and any changes are clearly highlighted.
How do I activate it?
No extra steps are required to configure or activate the comparison report, it is already live in Client Portal and available now.
Simply follow the existing fact find process by setting the fact find status to 'Unlocked' and when the client submits their fact find, a file note is created with the comparison report attached.

lachlan.fuller can you confirm that this comparison report is expected to be generated when a client completes a fact find on behalf of both themselves and their partner? In testing this yesterday, it was not being generated.

Hi sharyn.evans8 ,
- Where the option to complete for "Both me and my partner" is selected in the fact find, a single comparison report will generate and include data for both the client and partner
- If the option 'Just myself' is selected, the reports will generate separately for each individual.
In each case, the content of the report will be what is visible in the fact find journey, e.g. if 'Just myself' is selected, the client's report will not include partner only data, just client only and joint.
If there was an issue with the generation when testing, can you please check to ensure both the client and partner's fact find status is set to 'Unlocked'? In my testing and conversations with users, a common denominator with generation issues has been the fact find status being set to 'In Progress'.
Please get in touch if you have any further issues with the comparison report being generated.

Hi Lachlan, Thanks for your response. I have tested again this morning, confirming that both client and partner's statuses were set to "Unlocked" and no comparison report was generated. This has also been reproduced by Practice Dynamix and they have escalated to Xplan support for further investigation.
