Will QAR go far enough?
A two part question for all our Advisely Experts and Board Members - with Minister Jones handing down the first part of the draft QAR legislation this week, do you think he'll go far enough to make a material impact for most advisers? And secondly, what's the one thing you think must get through? Tangelo Peter.Worn Alisdair.Barr Phil.Anderson Tamara.Morey Kim-Payne Fraser.Jack jessica.lamb

FDS requirements have been a bug bear for a while now and removing these will hopefully make an impact for Advisers, as will streamlining ongoing fee renewal and consent requirements.
Clarity regarding SoA's and what fit for purpuse means is on everyone's radar, as is the removal of the safe harbour steps - I think these are the two that must get through (I couldn't choose between the two!). Getting some traction before Xmas would be a great gift to the industry!
