Adviser Technology Survey 2025 - T&Cs

Terms and Conditions 

General 

1. Iress Limited ABN 47 060 313 359 (“Iress”) will conduct a prize competition (“the Competition”) according to these terms and conditions. By participating in the Competition, all entrants agree to these terms and conditions. 

Competition Period 

2. The Competition commences on Friday 24th October, 2025 at 11:00am (AEST). All submissions must be completed by 12:00pm (AEST) on Friday 21st November, 2025 The Winner will be notified via email or phone call by 2:00pm (AEST) on Tuesday 25th November, 2025.

Entry Criteria/How to Enter 

3. Entry to the Competition is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years or over, who: a. are practice principals, practice managers, advisers, paraplanners, and client admin staff; 
   1. are invited by Iress, by email or via Advisely, to complete the Adviser Technology survey (the “Survey”); 
   2. complete all questions in the Survey; 
   3. select “All of the above” as the response for Q14 of the Survey; 
   4. have a valid email address; and 
   5. do not work for Iress or benefit from the Competition 

(“Eligible Entrants”). 

4. There is no entry fee for the Competition. 
5. Each Eligible Entrant is allowed one entry into the draw. 

Competition Criteria 

6. This is a game of chance to promote Iress’ business by gathering data to build a richer picture of how advisers use and experience technology, which will shape how we support them via the Advisely community, and through Iress software. 
7. One Eligible Entrant will be selected by random draw. The Eligible Entrant whose name was generated by an online number generator is the winning entry (“the Winner”). 

Prize (Description & Conditions) 

8. The Winner will be notified via the email address recorded in the Survey by  2:00pm (AEST) on Tuesday 25th November, 2025.
9. The prize is a Visa gift card with a value of $1,000 AUD (“the Prize”). 
10. The Prize will be delivered to the Winner via the email address recorded in the Survey. 
11. Iress is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any Winner as arising from, or in connection with the Prize. 
12. Iress is not responsible for any terms and conditions that are associated directly with the use of the Prize. 
13. The Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. 
14. The Prize is not exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed for cash. 
15. In the event that: 
    1. Iress does not hear from the Winner within 10 days of notification of winning in accordance with clause 8; or 
    2. the Winner opts out of receiving the Prize 

the Prize will be forfeited and Iress will be entitled to select another Eligible Entrant as the Winner. 

Privacy 

16. Eligible Entrants’ personal information and Survey responses will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this Competition, disclosure to Iress’ third party service providers, as required by law or a regulatory authority, research, and any other purpose that is reasonably necessary for, or directly related to, Iress’ functions or activities (“Purpose”). 
17. By entering the Competition, Eligible Entrants consent to Iress’ collection and use of Eligible Entrants’ personal information for the Purpose, and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. A copy of the Iress Privacy Policy is available at  https://www.iress.com/resources/legal/privacy-policy/ . Eligible Entrants should note that this URL may be subject to change but the Iress Privacy Policy will always be found on the Legal section of the Iress website. 

18. By entering the Competition, Eligible Entrants agree to participate in any public relations arranged by Iress, including but not limited to Iress using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in any media platform for an unlimited period of time without payment of royalties or commission to the Eligible Entrant. 

Iress’ Rights 

19. By entering the Competition, Eligible Entrants grant Iress a non-exclusive licence to use the content of their entry in any way Iress wishes without payment of royalties or commission to the Eligible Entrant. 
20. By entering the Competition, Eligible Entrants warrant that their submission is not in breach of any third party intellectual property rights, and agree to indemnify Iress with respect to any IP claims brought by a third party against Iress alleging that the Eligible Entrant’s submission infringes any copyright, design or trade mark intellectual property rights. 
21. Iress reserves the right to exclude or disqualify any Eligible Entrant’s submission that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or at Iress’ discretion. 

Winner’s Rights 

22. The Winner has rights under the Australian Consumer Guarantees Act and other similar legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by these terms and conditions, or by Iress generally. 
23. Notwithstanding clause 19, to the extent that it is permitted to do so under law, Iress excludes all liability arising in tort, contract or otherwise for any injury, loss or damage whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition.
