Let's wind back to the GFC: I'd just bought into an advice business, funded by debt, and revenue dropped by 30% overnight. That was bad enough, but the hardest part was moving clients to fixed fees – and having to justify why it was happening and what they were paying for.

    Fantastic Adele. We were in the same position and made the change too. Set fees make life much easier and clients don't care how much we know until they know how much we care!

  • Thanks for this article adele.martin fees discussion can be difficult however if you beleive in your value then its not, we have recently been increasing our fees and the conversations have been good overall clients do value what we do for them
